This is an evaluation of overall firearms and ammunition purchases based on low end numbers per Federal. The numbers presented are only PART of the overall numbers of arms and ammunition that have been sold. The actual numbers are much higher.

Oh yea baby.

20 years ago, we in Canada thought being tied to the hip with the most powerful military in the world was a comforting notion. Today, knowing that we live next to the largest armed populace in the world has replaced the former.

I have a feeling that freedom loving and freedom fighting Americans will be the ones who will restore global respect towards the American population. As well, I believe that US gun owners will be the last line of resistance to global tyranny.

Thank God for the 2nd of the US Constitution and thank God the the patriots who excersise it.

Too bad this thread got moved to the Firearms forum. Had it started there, I might have missed it altogether. Gave my heart an extra beat this evening, knowing the 500 rounds I bought contributed to the cause. Mods should move this back to the the General Discussion forum and give everyone a little inspiration. God only know, we need it.

LMAO! I thought it was OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Anyway, I feel your pain.

The past ten guns I've bought have ALL been the last damned one, I swear! And about a month later, it's always something like, "I've got all this .40 S&W ammo laying around, and I didn't realize I've only got two pistols in that caliber. Lessee what Bud's has...."

I can always come up with a perfectly rational reason (to me) for buying another one. At least I've resisted the temptation to branch out into calibers of ammo I haven't stocked. Small victories....

Same thing here. I'm to the point of duplicating selected weapons. I picked up a second Sig Sauer P239 this month and a fair amount of ammunition. I'm also working on a second Ruger SP101. My dream is a DSA FAL before the end of the year.

Yep...so no collapsible stock, bayonet lug, or 30-rd magazine manufactured after the ban took effect.


Can still have a pile of AR-15s and M-4s lying around, though, no problem. Just so long as they don't have shoulder things that go up.


EDIT: Well, that's for NY State anyway. NY City has further restrictions.
